Sessions Summer 2025

Camp runs Monday-Thursday with drop off at 9:00am and pick up at 3:00pm.

Weekly cost: $160 per camper.

Campers are divided into two age groups: 3-7 years old and 7-13 years old. If you have a 7-year-old camper, they may be placed in either group depending on your discretion. Campers aged 7-13 will participate in longer hikes of up to 3 miles.

To enroll in camp:

  1. Fill out the Camper Registration Form for each child attending camp.

  2. Visit the Store Page and add the weeks you wish to sign up for into your cart. All camp sessions must be paid for in order for your child’s spot to be reserved.

Session 1: Frogs and Polliwogs

June 22nd-25th

Gahagan Nature Preserve

Hop into a week of splashy fun! Campers will explore the vernal pond, learn how polliwogs grow into frogs, and enjoy games, crafts, and nature activities inspired by our favorite amphibians. Get ready for muddy adventures!

Session 2: Wilderness Skills

July 6th-9th

Gahagan Nature Preserve

Campers will build confidence and outdoor know-how as they learn basic wilderness skills like shelter building, map reading, knot tying, and nature awareness.

Session 4: Flying Feathers

July 20th-23rd

Gahagan Nature Preserve

Campers will take flight as they learn about birds, feathers, and how animals soar through the sky. Through games, crafts, and nature exploration, they’ll discover different birds, build feathered creations, and enjoy high-flying outdoor fun.

Session 3: Gone Fishing: Cast, Catch, and Explore!

July 13th-16th

Hartwick Pines State Park *State park pass required

Under the guidance of experienced instructors, campers will develop their fishing techniques and gain a deeper appreciation for the natural world around them. This week will take place at Bright and Glory Lakes at Hartwick Pines.

Session 5: Animal Homes

July 27th-30th

Grayling Elementary School

Campers will explore where animals live—from nests and burrows to dens and hives. Through games, crafts, and nature activities, they’ll learn how animals build and use their homes while discovering the importance of protecting habitats.
